The Northumbria Office of the Police & Crime Commissioner is the local policing governing body for policing in Northumbria. On these pages you will find information about how the Northumbria Office for Policing and Crime conducts its business.

The Elected Local Policing Bodies Specified Information Order 2011 (subsequently amended in 2012 and 2013) sets out the information that each local policing body must publish.

Any information relating to the archive publications from Northumbria Police Authority, which was abolished on 22 November 2012 is held by Gateshead Council.  The Council are also responsible for clerking Northumbria’s Police & Crime Panel.
