The General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) become legislation on the 25th May 2018. The Government has confirmed the UK’s decision to leave the European Union (EU) will not affect the commencement of the GDPR and the measures related to this and wider data protection reforms will be introduced in a Data Protection Bill.
GDPR aims to strengthen and unify data protection for all individuals within the European Union (EU) and the United Kingdom.
