Northumbria PCC Consultation Responses 2020
Kim McGuinness, in her capacity of Police and Crime Commissioner (PCC), responds to various consultations and inquiries held by the Government and other agencies, providing evidence and insight into a wide range of topics relating to crime and policing. By doing so, the Commissioner aims to influence future policy and ensure the views and needs of Northumbria are put forward.

- Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) consultation on guidance to pre-trial therapy for victims of sexual violence
- Association of Police and Crime Commissioners (APCC) call for evidence on Covid-19 impact on mental health partners and policing

- Home Office Serious Violence Reduction Orders consultation on a new court order to target known knife and offensive weapon carriers
- Her Majesty’s Courts and Tribunals Service (HMCTS) consultation on North Northumbria Courts
- Government Commission on Race and Ethnic Disparities call for evidence on ethnic disparities and inequality in the UK
