Northumbria PCC’s response to the Alcohol Duty Structures consultation

Overview

This Government consultation gathered views on whether there should be a new still cider and perry duty band below 7.5% ABV. In this response, the PCC agrees with the prospect of a new tax band, raises the issues associated with white cider, and also makes suggestions regarding tax bands.
