Northumbria PCC’s response to the Joint Committee on the Draft Domestic Abuse Bill’s inquiry into views on the draft Domestic Abuse Bill

In February 2019, the House of Commons resolved to establish a committee to join with a committee of the House of Lords to consider the draft bill. This committee sought written evidence on the measures and reforms proposed within the draft bill, which the Commissioner provided through this response.
