Northumbria PCC’s Response to the Sir John Gillen Review of Sexual Offences in Northern Ireland Consultation

Sir John Gillen QC PC, a recently retired Court of Appeal Judge, is leading an independent review into how the law and procedures in Northern Ireland deal with serious sexual offences. He published a preliminary report containing draft recommendations for consultation in November 2018, in which the PCC for Northumbria submitted a response to as well as a contribution to the Metropolitan Police response.
